About the Department
The Department of English was established in the academic year 2012 with the aim of acquainting students with various literary theories and aiding them in acquiring both language proficiency and soft skills.
VISION
To guide the students to learn with passion, to impart knowledge and help them acquire personal and academic excellence. To train the students to speak fluent English with confidence and help them stand apart and a step higher in the society.
MISSION
To help students attain both language skills and soft skills, thereby leading them to a holistic development. To familiarize the students with the different literary theories and criticisms and to help them excel in the field of research. To encourage students to develop their creative skills and to actively participate in all the competitions conducted in and outside the department.
